Tonight is Bingo Night! I hope that we will all see you there, it is always a fun, happy evening.
In math at the moment we are working on adding and subtracting with single and double digit using addition and subtraction. This week we used manipulatives and next week we will move from the concrete to the pictorial and the abstract. The students are making good progress. In reading we are working are on comparing and contrasting and identifying key words. In writing the students are busy with an opinion paper. They have really had fun with this assignment and have produced excellent work. In social studies we are learning about Theodore Roosevelt and the contributions that he made to this country. Yesterday we made toilet roll puppets and today we will make a speech bubble to go with them. I hope you all have a wonderful week.

I hope you all enjoyed the snow days and had fun in the ice and maybe even got a chance to make a few snow angels! It is always exciting to peek outside the window and see a white landscape in Georgia.
Welcome to a wonderful New Year full of promise and excitement.
