Welcome back! I hope you all had a wonderful and relaxing Spring Break.
There are lots of exciting events happening this week. On Tuesday the 11th of April we will be having our annual STEAM Night. This is one of my favorite evenings of the year! It is from 4:30 - 6:00 and the children will participate in science, engineering and math activities. On Friday the 14th of April, First Grade is going to the museum. This is a wonderful trip and I know the students will have an amazing time. There are still a few students that need to turn in their permission slips, I have stapled these into their agendas. Please ensure that these are signed and returned to school. In math this week we will be doing fractions. It is important that the children understand that fractions are equal parts of a whole. We will be introducing halves and quarters. In reading we will be looking at the central message of a story and point of view. The book we will be reading is Hey Little Ant! I look forward to a wonderful 4th quarter with your precious children.
