Christmas is in the air and the children are excited and very busy.
Over the last few weeks we have continued to work on the missing addend as well as review all the work we have covered in math this first semester. In social studies we have worked on Lewis and Clark. This included making binoculars out of toilet rolls and going on an expedition. The children enjoyed this immensely and wrote excellent journal articles. The students have also had the opportunity to review nouns and adjectives as well as learn about the elements needed in a story. The Holiday Party will be on December the 21st. A letter was sent home last week explaining all the details. All parents are welcome to join us in the festivities on that day at 10:15. The winter break is from the 22nd of December to the 4th of January. School begins again on the 5th of January. I hope you all enjoy the holidays and spending time with your children
